A funny last remark from our departing director
(this is while watching the little mermaid, during the opening scene where Sebastian the crab comes out and conducts)
Me: “hey, look, it’s you!”
Director: “yeah, I just wish our band sounded as good as the one in the movie!”
(this is amusing because 2 weeks ago we played a medley of music from the little mermaid, and low brass had effectively butchered it.)
